Meriam Bettouhami, a versatile vocalist hailing from Tunisia, embodies the spirit of musical fusion and cultural unity. Born with a passion for performance, she discovered her prodigious talent at the tender age of 12, a spark that ignited into a blazing career in the world of music.

Formally trained at the prestigious Higher Institute of Music in Tunis, Meriam Bettouhami earned her stripes, culminating in a Master’s degree in Music and Interpretation. Alongside her academic achievements, she holds a Bachelor degree in Music and Musicology, demonstrating her dedication to the art form both practically and academically.

A prominent figure in the Tunisian music scene, Meriam Bettouhami is a member of the esteemed choir of the Symphonic Orchestra in Tunis, where her vocal prowess shines as a soloist. Her journey into the limelight commenced in 2016 when she captivated audiences with her talent on a popular talent show, marking the beginning of a remarkable career trajectory. Her repertoire knows no bounds, seamlessly transitioning between genres ranging from opera to pop, Latino, Oriental, and Tunisian music. Her collaborative endeavors include notable projects such as “Hadhra,” “Erkez Hip Hop,” “Mahaba,” and “Cantes Allegres,” reflecting her commitment to exploring diverse musical landscapes.

Meriam Bettouhami’s artistic vision extends beyond borders, as she endeavors to bridge cultural divides through her music. With a focus on intercultural exploration, she seeks to unearth the common threads that unite traditions from diverse corners of the world, celebrating shared heritage and fostering harmony through melody. In the symphony of life, Meriam Bettouhami’s voice echoes as a testament to the power of music to transcend boundaries, inspire unity, and ignite the human spirit.
