بهمن ایران‌پور
M.A.; PhD candidate

Bahman Iranpour comes from an alternative filmmaking background and has participated in various collective filmmaking experiences. He is currently pursuing a PhD at Zeppelin University (Germany), focusing on socially engaged art and social commitment within contemporary Iranian artistic and creative practices. His research places particular emphasis on independent art practices and their roles in fostering social change. He explores how these practices offer alternative strategies for addressing tensions related to mechanisms of domination.

Bahman Iranpour previously studied cinema and cultural studies in Iran and has collaborated with several artist-run collectives as both a scholar and a filmmaker. His research interests include self-organized, collaborative, and participatory art practices, as well as community-based art production.
